DMCA Policy for Dim Review
Dim Review DMCA Policy
At Dim Review, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are properly reported to us. This DMCA Policy outlines the process for reporting and responding to claims of copyright infringement.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available on Dim Review infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice of claimed infringement (a “DMCA Notice”) to our designated Copyright Agent with the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. Responding to a DMCA Notice
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA Notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the user who posted the material that we have removed or disabled access to the material.
- Terminate repeat infringers’ accounts when appropriate.
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our designated Copyright Agent (a “Counter-Notice”). The Counter-Notice must include the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or the district where your address is located) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA Notice or an agent of such person.
If we receive a valid Counter-Notice, we will send a copy to the original complaining party. If we do not receive notice within ten business days that the original complaining party is seeking a court order to prevent further infringement of the material at issue, we will restore the material.
4. Repeat Infringers
Dim Review will terminate user accounts that are deemed to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. A repeat infringer is a user who has been notified of infringing activity more than twice and/or has had infringing content removed from the website more than twice.
5. Modifications to Policy
Dim Review reserves the right to modify, alter, or update this DMCA Policy at any time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the policy’s effective date.
